Arenga engleri
This palm will eventually cover a 10 ft. X 10 ft. space in the landscape. Its black, fiber-covered multiple trunks are quite attractive.

| Fruit: | Hanging in attractive bunches, they are about ½ in. in diameter and ripen through green, yellow and orange to red when ripe |
| Cultivation: | Not widely cultivated. OUTDOORS – Probably one of the most cold-hardy Arengas, will withstand a light frost. INDOORS – Has not been tested, but should do well with good light and moderate watering. Hardiness Zones 9 - 11. |
