Common Name:
Origin: Cuba
Typical Height: To 3-25 ft.
Stem: Solitary, enveloped by shag of light to dark brown, long fibers.
Leaf: Palmate, with ¾ circular blades, loosely spaced on short petioles, green on lower surface.
Fruit: Violet-purple. Inflorescence erect above leaves, later becoming pendulous.
